#20
Josh Upperman takes 4th Overall |
Baldwin Motorsports’ Josh Upperman grabbed
the moto one holeshot and held on to his lead until
the midway point before he would make a mistake
and fall back. Upperman would settle for a fourth
place finish in moto one. In moto two, Upperman
would come off the gate in fifth and hold that position
from start to finish, which would put him in fourth
overall.
Walsh Race Craft backed Jeremy Lawson was looking
great as he charged off the line in third place
behind John Natalie and Josh Upperman. Lawson waited
for an opportunity and soon got around both Natalie
and Upperman to take over the lead. Lawson held
his lead for several laps before falling back to
a third place finish in moto one. In moto two, Lawson
again came on strong as he worked his way up to
sixth place, but a bobble would put him back to
finish moto two in seventh place, allowing him to
round out the top five overall.
