Race Report - Round Three

| Tons
of fans turned out for round 3 & as
they waited for the start of the afternoon
Pro class races they were presented with
hot weather & soon saw hot racing action
as well |
The afternoon race would take the line at 2pm
and two well known National Pro racers would be
in attendance as Rockstar Suzuki's Chris Borich
and Polaris' Jarrod McClure both took their positions
on the line. 121 entries would be registered to
start the event as the temperatures swelled into
the 90's with high humidity, making for brutal
conditions for the two hour event.

Drake grabbed the holeshot during the Quad
AA session, followed by Nathan Thomas, Scottie
Rich, Jarrod McClure, & Chris Borich |
Chris Borich would grab the lead early on the
first lap and never look back as his domination
of XC racing continued here at Miles Mountain.
Borich's win would catapult him to the points
lead and his comments from the podium indicated
he intends to make the remaining rounds and do
his best to capture the series championship.

| Suzuki's
Chris Borich fastened his seatbelt &
quickly took over the lead in the Pro class
to capture his 2nd win of the season. He
now also sits in the points lead & intends
on competing in the final two rounds as
he chases after the Championship |
Joining Borich on the podium would be Nathan
Thomas in second followed by Scottie Rich who
rounded out the top three.

The series will next head to Rausch Creek in
Valley View PA for round #4 of the 5 race series.
