Cypress, CA -Since the release of the
YFZ450 in 2004, Yamaha has been a strong supporter of
ATV racing and have aggressively expanded their rider
support over the past three years from just two riders
to an impressive fourteen rider support program with
a total of five Yamaha Factory Riders in cross country
and motocross.
With an impressive lineup of factory riders on ATVs
and beyond to motorcycles and snowmobiles, Yamaha
invited the media out of Yamaha headquarters in sunny
California to meet their entire 2007 team lineup in
a “Day at the Office”, which lasted from
9-5, and it was full day of activities to keep the
day moving.

Yamaha Factory Riders |
Besides just the opportunity to meet some of race
teams, Yamaha also lined up numerous team events for
the media and riders to participate, which were blast
and hilarious to watch. They had us team up in groups
doing pit stops for Doug Henry and Jason DiSalvo,
which was a first for many of us to change a street
bike tire. They also arranged the slowest race with
Yamaha PW50s, and the object was to complete an obstacle
course in the slowest amount of time without putting
your foot down or falling over, which had Pat Brown,
Barry Hawk , Charlie Mullins, and many others putting
on a great show, and the biggest surprise was to see
ATVriders.com journalist, Brittany Bloodworth capture
first place over an impressive lineup of riders. Of
course, I wiped out early in the race by trying to
do a 360 to slow me down, which went south quickly.

Bloodworth and I teamed up for both SuperMoto
and SuperBike pit stop combination, and we finished
in 2nd place for both events, which was a blast |
The
PW50 Slowest Race was a riot with many of the
pros participating in the event, but in the
end ATVriders.com Brittany Bloodworth would
claim the Win |
