Cypress, CA (7/28/2008) -
Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., has released
a new double-sided informational DVD featuring
the company's all-new 2009 model year Grizzly
550 FI and the best selling big bore utility
ATV* - the Grizzly 700 FI. The new DVD, which
can be requested for free online at www.yamahaoutdoors.com,
provides a comprehensive overview of the new
Grizzly 550 FI and the Grizzly 700 FI and delivers
detailed head-to-head comparisons against competing
models.
"The Grizzly 700 FI is the best selling
big bore utility ATV*, and we fully expect the
new 550 to come in and dominate the 500-600cc
class," said Steve Nessl, marketing manager
for Yamaha's ATV/SxS group. "The Grizzly
550 FI is the best new utility ATV out this
year and the DVD does a great job explaining
our claims. There's also a lot of good information
on the competing machines in these classes.
Anyone interested in purchasing a utility ATV
should take a look at this DVD first."
The double-sided DVD includes individual information
for both the Grizzly 550 FI and the Grizzly
700 FI. The detailed product overview of the
all-new mid-sized utility ATV, the Grizzly 550
FI, reviews specific features and benefits including
Electric Power Steering (EPS), comfort, terrainability
and toughness. To prove the 550's dominance,
the new DVD also features it pitted against
the best the competition has to offer. Viewers
can watch head-to-head comparisons through real-world
situations and maneuvers, demonstrating the
strength and versatility of Yamaha's new 550.
The other side of the DVD offers a similar
overview of the features and benefits of the
popular Grizzly 700 FI, as well as head-to-head
comparisons of how the Yamaha Grizzly 700 FI
stacks up against the competition in a variety
of realistic riding situations. Areas of comparison
include off-road capability, 4x4 system, transmission,
suspension, handling, load capacity, comfort
and more. Both the
class-leading Grizzly 700 FI and the 550 incorporate
rider-friendly features such as the Ultramatic(r)
automatic transmission and On Command(r) push-button
four-wheel drive system, Yamaha Fuel Injection
(YFI) and EPS.
