- John Natalie, Jr., Dustin Wimmer, Chris
Bithel, and Jesse West topped the first round of Pro
qualifying Saturday during the AMSOIL Wild Cat Open
Championship. The event represents Round 8 of the
2007 WPSA PowerSports ATV Tour.
Natalie (No. 13 Elka, Maxxis/Honda) and Wimmer (No.
191 MSR, Pro Taper, Yoshimura/Suzuki) won their respective
heats in SuperQuad Pro 450 competition. West (No.
888 West Racing/Arctic Cat) and Bithel (No. 6 Warnert
Racing/Can-Am) set the quickest times in their QuadTerrain
Pro Stock heats.
The AMSOIL Wild Cat Open Championship continues tomorrow
with second-round Pro qualifying and finals, as well
as a full card of Amateur, Women's and Junior racing.
Racing gets underway at 9 a.m. Tickets are available
at the gate. This weekend's event will be telecast
on ESPN2 on Sept. 7 at 3 p.m. EDT.
