Jeremiah Jones Receives Support from the ATV Racing Community

White Bear Lake, MN (8/4/2006) - Jeremiah Jones (No. 2 Team Suzuki, Yoshimura/Suzuki) suffered a severe back injury during a non-WPSA-affiliated race in Upstate New York last Sunday. Due to the injury, he is not scheduled to compete in the final WPSA PowerSports ATV Tour events scheduled for Aug. 20-21 at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J.

"Our hearts go out to Jeremiah, his wife, Jamie, their son, Nathaniel and the entire Jones family," said PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. CEO Rick Murphy. "Jeremiah is an exceptional individual in every respect and we hope he will attack his recovery process with the same zeal he applied on the track. All of us at WPSA wish him the best and we'll do everything we can to help him."

Jones is currently being treated at Bassett Healthcare-Cooperstown in New York and will be transferred Monday to Shepherd Center in Atlanta to begin rehabilitation.
