(3/17/2007) - WeaponMX, an innovator
of motocross parts and accessories has launched a whole
new line of its popular G-Zero gas tank foam. WeaponMX
G-Zero foam is the first ever ATV gas tank foam to be
introduced and has received praise throughout the industry
for its effectiveness in dramatically improving handling.
WeaponMX G-Zero foam is currently being used in Supercross
by Chad Reed in the L&M Team, Factory Yamaha, Factory
KTM, Star Yamaha, Yamaha of Troy, Team Solitaire, Wyvern

WeaponMX’s G-zero Inertia Eliminating Foam is
an aerospace mil-spec standard foam used in fighter
aircraft and bombers. This fuel tank foam holds the
fuel in place and virtually eliminates fuel tank slosh!
One gallon of fuel has a mass of 6 lbs. Now imagine
that slamming into your tank on the left when you are
trying to turn right! If you turn aggressively enough
that can be a 30lb force (force = mass x acceleration).
Test riders have stated that the G-zero fuel tank foam
makes the bike feel 10-15 lbs lighter and makes the
center of gravity lower by 6 inches.
In January of ‘06 at the KTM Supercross Training
Facility in Corona, Ca. WeaponMX installed G-zero gas
tank foam into Casey Lytles KTM's test bike. Immediately
after 10 laps on the track with G-zero they stated that
the bike felt 10-15 lbs lighter and it made the center
of gravity lowered by 6 inches! Since then we have had
thousands of riders say the same thing.
