Warnert Racing Wraps up the WPSA Season with 9th Straight Win
Bithell Secures 1st Win

#6 Chris Bithell
St. Cloud, MN (10/3/2007) - The battle for the WPSA Quadterrain Challenge Pro Championship came down to the final race of season between CanAm Warnert Racing’s Scott Kilby and Jesse West with only 15 points separating the pair after nine rounds of racing. Warnert Racing’s Chris Borich was also in a points battle with Daryl Rath for the fourth spot, and luckily for Borich, the final round of the WPSA Powersports Tour location was changed in the final weeks leading up to the event from South Carolina to the Field of Dreams in Boswell, PA, which allowed Borich to race in the GNCC on Saturday and drive to the WPSA on Sunday to defend his top five position and joining Borich was Chris Bithell.

Borich & Bithell missed the first round of Heats, but the pair came out swinging in the second round of Heats with Borich claiming the win followed by Bithell. Scott Kilby also finished in the runners-up position in his Heat as well, as the Warnert Racing prepped Can-Am Outlanders proved their dominance, which set the stage for the final race of the season.

#2 Chris Borich
#207 Scott Kilby

Leading the charge in the Main event was Chris Bithell as he blasted his way through the mud pit and rugged rock section that followed by teammates Chris Borich, Scott Kilby, and Adam Vaughn. The mud and rocks was no match for Bithell as he negotiated the obstacles effortlessly pulling a significant lead over Borich in the second spot. Kilby also was on gas as he maintained fourth place.

When the checkered flag came out, it was Chris Bithell out front claiming his first win of the season with Chris Borich rounding out the Podium in third place. It was Borich’s sixth straight podium finish, and it was more than enough to secure fourth place in the points standings despite missing the first two rounds of racing otherwise, Borich would have been a serious threat for the championship.

Scott Kilby finished out the race in fourth place, but it wasn’t enough to secure the Championship, but it netted him a solid second place finish on the year for Warnert Racing’s CanAm Team, and the combined efforts of Kilby, Borich, Bithell, and Vaughn secured CanAm the Manufacturers Championship.

The 2007 WPSA Powersport ATV Tour proved to be another exciting year of racing for Warnert Racing CanAm Team as they secured multiple podium finishes and secured nine straight main event wins between Borich, Kilby, and Bithell.
