Warnert Racing’s
Scott Kilby Claims Win & Points Lead at South Fork
Reynolds, GA (5/23/2007) - For the second
straight race, the WPSA & GNCC events overlapped,
which forced Scott Kilby to miss his second GNCC race
of the season and relinquish his 4x4 Open points lead
after three consecutive wins, but Kilby hasn’t missed
a beat in his transition to the WPSA Powersports ATV Tour
as he claims yet another win in the QuadTerrain Challenge
and takes over the series points lead. Round 2 of the
WPSA Series was held at South Fork Dirt Riders Club
in Taylorville, IL, which proved to be an extremely
demanding course in 2006, and it lived up to its reputation
in 2007 with a rougher log section and a monstrous mud
pit, which played havoc on many of the competitors.

Scott
Kilby went out and dominated the QuadTerrain Pro
Stock Class
Main on his Warnert Racing’s prepped CanAm
Outlander 650 |
After securing two top three finishes in heats, Scott
Kilby, went out and dominated the QuadTerrain Pro Stock
Class Main on his Warnert Racing’s prepped CanAm
Outlander 650, and he wasn’t alone with teammate,
Adam Vaughn, securing the second spot and his first
2007 Podium appearance.
The win catapulted Kilby into the points lead and Adam
Vaughn jumped into the top five as he continues to prove
himself on the track as a rider to watch, and Tony Baker
finished respectively in 12th place.
The Warnert Racing team was missing two of its top
pro racers this past weekend with GNCC Pro Racer, Chris
Borich, and WORCS Pro Racer, Josh Frederick, both missing
from the lineup as they continue to lead the pro points
in their primary racing series, but the pair will join
the already potent Warnert Racing Team in Oklahoma for
the Double Header Round the first weekend of June, and
with a full Warnert Racing CanAm lineup it should prove
to be another exciting weekend of racing.
