and the 4x4 open win |
Reynolds, GA (5/23/2007) - Once again,
the Warnert Racing teams headed off to compete in two
different series as the clash of racing events conflicts
forcing teams to make decisions on which event to run.
4x4 Open points leader Scott Kilby spent his weekend rapping
up yet another win in the WPSA series keeping the door
open for teammate Richard Cecco to try and drive home
another win in the 4x4 Open class during the Can Am GNCC
series.
Brock Parker was still recovering from his injuries
and we hope to see him return to the racing action very
soon. With the majority of Warnert Racing attending
the “John Penton” GNCC event, the team was
ready for another dominant performance series. The Penton
is infamous for conditions that swing wildly from an
all out mudfest to dust beyond belief making for tough
racing for all competitors.
In the 4x4 Lites class, Cliffton Beasley again rode
his Warnert Racing Can Am to victory marking his 3rd
straight class win, and topping 5 wins on the season.
Beasley’s outstanding run places him securely
in charge of the points chase as round #7 approaches.
Beasley bested his nearest competitor by over 15 minutes
proving yet again that Warnert Racing has the best there
is aboard their machines!
Micheal Swift has been a force to be reckoned with in
4x4 Limited winning the first 5 rounds convincingly.
The tight course and rugged terrain combined with severe
dust may have played a part in Swift taking second at
this round as temperatures climbed and racing turned
brutal. Swift looks to regain his winning streak at
round #7 and extend his growing points lead in his quest
for the class championship.

Richard Cecco came off the line in 4x4 Open and never
looked back; posting a solid race placing him 8th overall
and taking the class win by just over one minute. Cecco's
only second to teammate Scott Kilby by 12 points as
we head to round seven, and once again he will be running
his Warnert racing prepped Can Am at full speed trying
his best to win to earn a spot of the podium.
The Warnert Racing team heads south to Kentucky for
the next round of GNCC action and rolls in to the "Spartan"
with a winning spirit and Scott Kilby will be rejoining
the GNCC Team! No matter where our racers compete, our
winning record is being carried by our riders and race
team as an example of our dedication and resolve to
dominate the 2007 racing season!
