Kory Ellis Wins Mickey Thompson Stadium Series ATV Racing Finale
Mickey Thompson / Kal Gard Stadium Series - Perris Auto Speedway - Perris, CA

Corona, CA (10/3/2009) -September marked the final round of the Mickey Thompson series taking place at Perris Auto Speedway in Perris California. This year was the first time that Quad racing was welcomed back to the series since the last Mickey Thompson's were ran over 10 years ago.

Dirt Alliance joined forces with Triumph Motorsports to get quads out to the series. Numbers seem to grow after the first race once word got out about how fun the event was. Dennis Capogni seemed to be a step above the competition at the first round, but the second round showed Davi Haagsma could come out and run with some of California's fastest racers.

This last round brought out Kory Ellis. With Chris Riley and Dennis Capogni missing it seemed the only racers to give Kory Ellis a race was Davi Haagsma, and Darrel Patton.

Qualifying went well for all the racers and put Haagsma on the pole position for the main event.

Before the main event we got to walk around to look at all the great vendors that participated in the event.

Skin Pit Area and Girls
Amsoil Pit Area
Skin brought out a DJ and some lovely ladies to show their support
Amsoil was on hand to show the public their great oils

It's vendors like these that make an event great!

Walking around we noticed that the fan base for these races were huge. It was nice to see even in this economy that people still love to come out to watch Off Road racing
It only took a few corners for Kory Ellis to work his way to the front
