Adelanto, CA (2/26/2009) - Triumph Motorsport's Yamaha Factory ATV Pro racer Justin Noss' first race of 2009 was once again the Adelanto Grand Prix.

After dominating the Event last year Justin was eager to defend his title and was excited to get the first race of the year out of the way. With the Yamaha YFZ450 having some starting issues, and not turning over on the first push of the button. Noss was late off the line which put him in 8th on the start.

Noss quickly moved to 3rd behind Danny Prather and Greg Stewart, until too much entry speed put Noss into a curb on one of the street sections which dropped him back to fourth. Knowing the urgency of not letting the leader pull away, Noss put on a hard charge to the front. Noss quickly moved to 3rd behind Danny Prather and Greg Stewart. It wasn't even 5 minutes into the first lap Noss had made the pass for the lead.

In the 50 minute race Noss ended up pulling a decent lead over second place Greg Stewart and won with about a minute lead. Triumph Motorsports is very excited to repeat a win with Justin Noss at this event and to get the year started off right.
