Andy Lagzdins to Race 2013 SCORE BAJA 1000
46th Annual Tecate SCORE BAJA 1000

Baja California, Mexico (11/5/2013) –DirtFirst Racing’s Andy Lagzdins has entered the 46th running of the Score Baja 1000 as a member of Tom Wright’s Class 24 team. The team is currently tied for the points lead in both the Class 24 (450cc and under Pro ATV) division and also the Score Overall ATV Championship. This marks the 6th consecutive Baja 1000 for Lagzdins, and his second ride as a teammate of Wright’s.

The two riders teamed up for the 2008 Baja 1000, finishing the race second in Class 24 after leading a portion of the event. Lagzdins has since won the Class 24 and Overall ATV titles with Team Christy’s, but has yet to win the 1000. Wright has won the Baja 1000 in Class 24.

Joining Wright and Lagzdins on the team are PY Denault, Francisco Vera, and Renaud Fortin. The Team will be racing a Honda TRX450R prepared by PY Denault. The 2013 Baja 1000 will be a 900-mile race starting and finishing in Ensenada, Mexico. The race will start at 11pm on Thursday, November 14th.
