Rekluse Completes z-Start Pro Line for ATVs.
Boise, ID - (7/31/2007) -Rekluse Motor
Sports, the leader in automatic clutch technology, today
released the new z-Start Pro for the Suzuki LTR450.
With this release, Rekluse is now able to offer the
z-Start Pro for the leading race ATV’s: Honda’s
TRX450, Yamaha’s YFZ450, Kawasaki’s KFX450,
Suzuki LTR450 and the Polaris Outlaw 525.
The z-Start Pro provides stock-like clutch lever feel,
a simpler installation, and reduced maintenance over
Rekluse’s original z-Start. The z-Start Pro’s
billet aluminum center clutch and overall design provide
a significant increase in durability. Additionally,
a Rekluse TCS Clutch Basket can be added to provide
even more durability for the Honda TRX450R or Yamaha
YFZ450.
“Today’s race quads use many of the same
clutch components as their motorcycle counterparts.
Quads’ wider tires and greater weight put much
higher loads on the clutch. With the original z-Start,
we found that the clutch components in a quad had a
much higher wear rate than the clutch parts in an equivalent
motorcycle. With the z-Start Pro, one of the major design
objectives was to increase the durability of the clutch
components in race quads.
Now, with 9 months of testing behind us, including
testing by some of the top Pro ATV competitors in both
WORCS and GNCC, we feel confident that the z-Start Pro
is the most durable aftermarket, automatic clutch system
available for race quads,” stated Al Youngwerth,

As a further commitment to customer service, Rekluse
will be offering a trade-in program for customers of
the original z-Start who want to get the benefits of
the new z-Start Pro. By returning their original ATV
z-Start model to Rekluse or through a Rekluse Authorized
Dealer, customers will receive a $200 rebate toward
the purchase of a new z-Start Pro. This trade-in program
will run from August 1st through September 14th 2007.
