MZM Performance' Kevin Cunningham Fourth at Blackhawk MAXC
Ryan Ferguson Third in MAXC Open A Class

Culver, IN (10/4/2013) - The MAXC returned to the BLACKHAWK in northern Indiana for round 8. The track consisted of roughly 8.3 miles of Indiana’s finest sandy soil. It was a mix of some tight and technical woods with some open and fast sections. The track had a great flow and a few pro lines but the biggest obstacle was the sand becoming rougher and rougher every lap.  Altogether another great round for racers and spectators alike.

Kevin Cunningham lead briefly at the begining of the race but fell back to fourth after his back started hurting him over the rutted out track	MZM Performance owner Ryan Ferguson stepped up to the Open A Class at the Blackhawk MAXC and earned his best finish this season in third

Shooting for his third win in a row Kevin Cunningham unfortunately injured his back. Kevin still toughed it out to finish 4th in class and 4th overall.  Brandon Spencer finished 3rd in the B 15-24 class followed by Austin Parks in 11th. Tony Zupancic finished 5th in B-30 and Ryan Ferguson 3rd in open A.

The AMA MAXC racing series will head to Gosport, IN for round 9 of the ten round series on October 19, 2014.
