- The Can-AM Motoworks ATV Pro team is heading
to France in two weeks to take on the roughest,
most prestigious European Beach Race- Le Touquet
Enduropale.
“Don't even get me started, I'm not
sure if this was Johnny's or Warnia's idea,
but I
want to kill them both for brainstorming it,
said Factory Can-AM's Josh Frederick.
France one weekend, then WORCS Rnd #2 the next,
it should be fun to say the
least.”
Le Touquet is the world's biggest ATV race,
and also one of the world's craziest,
which will take place in two weeks. The Le Touquet
Enduropale race is a
motorcycle/ATV beach race, which boast a 3 hour
long enduro, while riding through deep white
sand and plenty of obstacles.
Over 1,000 motorcycles & ATV's take part
in this event, with 100,000's of spectators.
There are some pro and expert riders, the remainder
are Sunday riders, many who have never been
riding on deep sand. So the spectale is guaranteed,
professionals and experts dodging slow motorcycles
and ATV's while ripping through the demanding
and exhausting course.
The 2009 edition of the race will be held
on the 22nd of February 2009 at Le
Touquet (a small beach resort in the North of
France).
Motoworks has crated all the bikes/parts and
will boat ship everything ahead, while Frederick,
Warnia, Team Manager- Ty Zimmerman and Owner-
Johhny Leach will make the cross Atlantic flight
