Delmont, PA (5/29/2009) -
Motowork's East coast team visited Delmont,
PA for Rnd #6 of the AMA/ATV Moose MX Championships
this past weekend and from what they had to
deal with the team dug deep and finished well
above what was expected after an initial start
to a bad weekend. Jeremy Lawson finished 18th
in Moto 1 and 13th in Moto 2 for a 16th O/A.
Lawson's teammate, Brandon Smith and former
WORCS west coast guy ran a 13-17 for a 14th
O/A.
"We had some slight problems this weekend,
both guys crashed in practice and Brandon had
a cooling fan/wire harness issue in Moto 2,
but they both dug down and finished respectable
on the day. These two guys are hard workers
and they seem to be getting better and better
as each round passes. We just have to look past
weekends like this and ahead for a positive
outlook. All teams run into problems every now
and then and this weekend happened to be ours
of the year. Look for strong finishes from these
two here in the second half of the season."
