Lake Elsinore, CA (8/28/2009)
- Motowork’s west coast team took on Round
6 of the ITP/Yamaha Quadcross series earlier this
month. Team leader/Pro pilot Jeremie Warnia secured
top spots in both 450 Pro Production & Open
Pro classes over the weekend span. Warnia captured
a 2-1 finish in both classes to seucre Overall
wins in both ventures. Warnia continues to lead
the points in Pro Production & Open Pro in
ITP. Dillon Zimmerman made his return to the podium
capturing a win in 450 Exp keeping him in the
points hunt for 2009. Frederick who is healing
up from a ITP crash earlier this year will most
likely make his return to the series come Sept.
19th in Surprise, Az.
WORCS Racing Round 6: Motoworks
headed north to the beautiful northern Cascades
located just 30 miles south of the Washington
border at a well know and very liked track,
Straddleline ORV Park. This would mark the heavily
anticipated return of Josh Frederick, who was
coming off a leg injury from round 3 of the
ITP Quadcross series. Along with Josh, Jeremie
“Frenchie” Warnia & Pro-Am pilot
Dillon Zimmerman made the hall to collect more
hardware for the Motowork’s office lobby.
Warnia rode a solid and consistent race to finish
2nd O/A, while frederick salvaged crucial Championship
points with a 5th & Dillon Zimmerman pulled
back on top to capture his first win back since
injury at his last ITP round as well.
“The team did extremely well this weekend.
Warnia rode as hard as he could, but just couldn’t
real in Borich today. We are really proud of
Dillon for rebounding with his win in Pro-AM
and very happy for Josh for regaining the confidence
and finishing a solid 5th. He is very determined
and I wouldn’t count him out of this WORCS
championship just yet. He still has a lot of
drive left in him for these final two rounds.”
Ty Zimmerman of Motoworks.
