Harrisburg, PA (2/28/2009) - The crowd falls silent as twenty riders assume their position behind a row of poised metal gates. With a glance at a full gate of competition a nervous excitement plagues Brian Ace's mind. His biggest competition are sitting on the line with him and he knows he is there for a reason; it is all up to him. As the board slides sideways and the gates are about to drop his thoughts turn to making it safely around the first bend and just grabbing that holeshot...

With an ample amount of career wins, a Pro-Am championship, and the stature of "Professional," Ace is no stranger to the track. He competes both on the local and national levels year after year only adding to his stories of success and giving both MX and TT riders a name to remember. For 2009, Ace turned in his Honda for a green Kawasaki.

When asked what the first modification would be Ace replied, "Suspension because I have never ridden anything worse than stock suspension on any bike." He left the art of suspension to the professionals at Fox Racing Shox and Walsh Race Craft and is very pleased with the results. In addition to a few other mods he will be sporting a hot Mad Brothers Racing motor and tackling as many events this year as he can.

Competing in the AMA Pro ATV, NEATV, and Extreme Dirt Track series', this 23 year old Pennsylvania native is a prime example of a versatile athlete. While motocross and flat track are nestled into an off-season and snow is falling effortlessly throughout the Northeast, if he is not on a practice track in the South, Ace can be found in the gym or showing off his hockey skills competing on professional roller hockey team, the P.A. Typhoons.

"I have been playing hockey for about ten years on and off. It really helps to keep my endurance up over the off-season," said Ace. But hockey is not the only thing Ace does to prepare for the fierce competition he is always sure to find on the track. While harboring a great enthusiasm for Pepsi's Mountain Dew, he prepares for races by training hard, eating right, running, biking, and just free riding.
While Ace may come across shy at first, he possesses a one of a kind personality which truly takes shape when he rides. He is always setting goals for himself, a quirk that has proven very effective as he climbs positions. The 2009 Motorama Arenacross event was Ace’s big debut on the Kawasaki and he put on quite the chase for rival Jason Dunkelberger. Though knocking Dunkelberger away from his seemingly classic Motorama finishes was not in the cards this year, Ace proved an extremely smooth riding style and a cool composure earning him two podium overalls for the event.

When asked who he would like to thank, Ace had quite a list to rattle off, "My Dad and Grandfather have been with me for 23 years and if it wasn't for them I don't know where I would be in life let alone racing. Also my Mom, Peter, Justin, Kenny, Johnny, Harry, Diabetic, Andrew, Mathew, and everyone a part of my life. Also all of my sponsors, MBR, HB ATV, Stroud Power Center, Cycle Frenzy, Fox Racing Shox, Walsh, Gen X, Fly, MXN Nutrition, and ESJ Graphics."
