Lucas Oil on Board
with Midwest Extreme Dirt Track Series

Known nationwide for its support in the racing
industry, Lucas Oil has joined the new ATVA Extreme
Dirt Track Midwest Championship Series as a title
sponsor. Lucas Oil is one of the top selling brands
in the additive lines for the American trucking
industry and has one of the fastest growing lines
of additives in the consumer automotive industry.
The company was founded in 1989 and has been in
the racing industry with a line of high performance
products. Lucas racing products are tested and
proven on tracks nationwide on the NASCAR, NHRA,
IHRA, USHRA, and ATPA racing circuits.
The new series will kick off this weekend with
round 1 to be held at Twin Creeks Raceway in Greenbrier
AR. There will seven rounds in the series with
rounds one and three in Arkansas, while rounds
two and four will be at the newly re-designed
Ozark Mountain Raceway in Goodhope Mo near Ava.
Both of these tracks will host National Events
this year in conjunction with the Midwest Series.
Rounds five and seven will be at the Tooth and
Nail Raceway in Versailles Mo and round six will
be in Tulsa OK.
The series will be ATVA sanctioned and will offer
all of the National Youth classes and many of
the amateur classes as well as a knobby class
for new riders wanting to get a taste of the fast
tracks the EDT has to offer. There will also be
a Pro Lite class and Pro Am Unlimited class for
the more experienced racer. Several of the nations
top riders will be competing in the series including
Mitch Reynolds, Brad Covingtion, Danny McGraw,
Kendall Webb, Wyatt Gann, and Brandon Shipman.
Riders will be scored on six races in the series
with a season ending Banquet this fall in Branson
