Argentina (2/28/2007) - Hello everybody,
we just wanted to squash the rumor mill before it
gets out of control. Nathan had a pretty nasty crash
while attending a race in Argentina on Sunday afternoon.
Nathan suffered some swelling in his spinal cord,
but no tears, breaks, or anything else that would
indicate permanent paralysis.
Initially, as a result of the impact, he had no feeling
below the neck, within minutes however, he had feeling
and movement in all of his extremities. Nathan is
currently in ICU in the best hospital in this side
of the country and improving daily, the doctors all
agree that he should be back to normal shortly.
We are seeing vast improvements on an hourly basis.
He's sitting up, eating solid food, coherent, and
generally in good shape under the circumstances. We're
doing everything in our power to get him home safely
and as quickly as possible. We hope to be home by
the weekend.
If you really want to help, send cash to the 88 live
to ride fund care of "save Commer from the savages".
For real, send loot, this is expensive stuff.
Thanks,
Jorge, Wes, Casey, & Caleb
