Borich took the holeshot before Fowler gained the lead for the first lap. Borich repeatedly traded the front spot with other riders throughout the race, before a pass in the final lap secured his victory. As always, he was glad to be riding Razrs. "The tires were great. I got my second holeshot in a row. The tires just hooked up and took off," he said.

"Everything's been working well. There were some gnarly hill climbs with mud holes, and these tires just hook up everywhere you can go. It got pretty rough and choppy toward the end there. I could wheelie and double some of the whoops out there."

Bithell was equally happy to count on Maxxis tires. "I ended up second today and the Maxxis tires were working great. The track was a little slick today because it rained all last night, and I didn't have any trouble today." Fowler said that he knows that Razrs will come through for him in any conditions: “My Razrs got me off to a great start. I was second into the woods and felt awesome.

We got some rain yesterday, but it dried up. And typical for Razr tires: They pretty much work the best in anything." Borich, Fowler and Bithell currently lead XC1 Pro standings.

Maxxis’ riders also had a great day in the XC2 Pro Am class, taking the top two spots on the podium. Brycen Neal took the win, with Landon Wolfe grabbing second place. Neal and Wolfe are first and third in XC2 standings. A determined Marshall Goings also had a great day on Maxxis tires, earning a place as the top amateur in the race.

"We got off to a pretty bad start. I just kept on clawing my way forward,” said Goings. “The tires hooked up perfect on the hills and bit real well in the slippery corners. They bit real well. I was able to just plug and plug and plug away...It was a fun day."
