2013 AMA MAXC ATV Racing Series to Kick off April 13th
AMA MAXC Racing - Round 1 - Monster Mountain - Canaan, IN - April 13, 2013

Monrovia, IN (3/29/2013) - The 2013 AMA MAXC Racing Season is set to kick off April 13, 2013 at Monster Mountain in Canaan, IN. Located just over an hour away from Louisville, Kentucky, MAXC has co-sanctioned with Kentucky Cross Country Racing (KCCR) to present a new venue to the every growing KCCR Kentucky Racing Series.

“We are looking forward to KCCR Racers joining us this round and we are sure they will like what Monster Mountain has to offer!” said MAXC Race Series Owner Mike Gibbs.

MAXC debuted Monster Mountain XC as a new venue in 2012 and had great feedback of the facility, track layout, and racing frorm both dirtbikes and ATV racers.

This year, Monster Mountain XC will feature an 8-mile course very similar to last year. The track will consist of many elevation and terrain changes making the track fun and challenging.

There are several new hill climbs, and pro line sections that are sure to be exciting for both racers and spectators.  In addition, racers will also be navigating down rocky the creek section – in the opposite direction as last year. Bike racers last year stated that Monster Mountain MAXC reminded them of an Endurocross style race, which is also growing in popularity.

Monster Mountain is one of many fan favorites because of it’s great racing, beautiful landscape and easy to access parking. There is a paved driveway that leads up to a mountain top clearing that offers plenty of mowed grass parking that overlooks the tree tops of Canaan, Indiana.
