Murrieta, CA (10/24/2009)
-Covering 13 national and regional racing series
and more than 170 racing classes, KTM is proud
to announce its double championship rewards 2010
ATV contingency program that puts $1.3 million
up for grabs for novice racers to experienced
professionals. In addition to the massive contingency
effort, KTM’s popular amateur grassroots
racer support program returns for the 2010 racing
season buoyed by a new Orange Brigade dealer support
program.
KTM ATV racers are encouraged to sign up for
the double rewards contingency program at www.xtrm.com/ktm
to have an opportunity to stake claim to their
share of the $1.3 million. Once all race series
schedules are finalized, racers will be able
to log on and review the eligibility requirements,
race classes covered and earn KTM Cash.
“This is the most comprehensive ATV contingency
program to date,” KTM’s ATV Product
Manager Chris Vogtman said. “Our double
rewards program for 2010 reinforces KTM’s
commitment to the ATV product, its racers and
the sport. We didn’t leave out any race
classes with this program. And, outside of the
$1.3 million offered, that is what we are most
proud of. We didn’t pick and choose what
classes to cover in the 13 series. Any class
our ATV can compete in is covered and that’s
the way it should be.”
For the second year running, the grassroots
amateur ATV racer support program offers racers
the opportunity for rider support packages.
The racer support program, like the contingency
program, is intended for all racer skill levels
and riding disciplines. Racers are encouraged
to submit their rider résumé to
KTMATVracer@KTMNorthAmerica.com,
fax 951-600-8866 or by mail at ATTN: ATV Racer
Support 38429 Innovation Court, Murrieta, CA,
92563.
In addition to the racer support program, KTM
is set to launch its ATV Orange Brigade dealer-assist
program that will allow racers the opportunity
to ride for and receive support from an Orange
Brigade dealer.
“The Orange Brigade dealer-assist program
will provide a good foundation for racers to
build a relationship with the dealer and receive
support,” Vogtman said. “A successful
race program starts at the dealership and ends
at the race track. The Orange Brigade program
will help racers achieve their racing goals.
More Orange Brigade details and dealer locater
will be available very soon.”
The ATV contingency program, which pays out
to fifth place in many racing series, covers
the following race circuits: AMA ATV Motocross,
Grand National Cross Country, WORCS, New England
ATV MX, Mid-South Hare Scramble Winter Series,
Extreme Dirt Track Nationals, ITP QuadCross,
Texhoma Quad Racing (TQRA), World ATV Motocross
Championship Series, TORN (Texas XC), Best In
The Dirt (BITD), OMA Nationals and D37 Big Six
Grand Prix.
