Tim Farr Along-side
the Brand New KTM 525XC |
Danville, VA (7/9/2007) -
Eleven-time Pro ATV Champion, Tim Farr, and the
hot new KTM Sport ATV competed this past weekend
at the third round of the Extreme Dirt Track (EDT)
Series in Danville, VA. The pairing once again
was the talk of the pits as Farr was blazing fast
throughout the weekend.
Farr, the reigning EDT Pro Champion, competed
for his second time this year in the Pro-Am
Unlimited class. The night started off well
for Farr after earning the first heat race win.
When the lights turned green for the main event,
Farr spun off the line and Brandon Hill and
Zack Stanley got the early jump out front. Farr
quickly passed Stanley and set his sights on
Hill. Within, a few laps, Farr was on Hill’s
rear bumper and began to pressure him for the
lead. Farr made numerous attempts to pass, but
was forced to take the inside line which was
much looser than the outside. Hill held his
line and did not make any mistakes. Farr made
one last drive out of the final corner before
the finish line, but came up a wheel short of
the win.
Overall, Farr was happy with his effort and
results. After taking home a win in the first
round, and a second here he is still in the
points chase for the championship.
