Krista Marie - ATV Racer & Country Music
Singer |
Nashville, TN (3/12/2009) - Broken
Bow/Holeshot Records artist and champion ATV Motocross
racer Krista Marie has made her living on the open
road singing, performing and racing. Now, building
off of her existing relationship with the NHRA,
Krista has connected with Harley-Davidson motorcycles
and Screamin' Eagle racing to make promotional appearances
at H-D dealerships, NHRA events and will participate
in charity rides across the country on behalf of
the storied brand and to support Harley-Davidson's
effort to encourage women to ride.
"We met Krista Marie through NHRA drag racing,
and her passion for motorsports and Harley-Davidson
motorcycles makes her a perfect fit as an honorary
member of our Screamin' Eagle race team,"
said Harley-Davidson Manager of Racing Anne Paluso.
The relationship revs up today at Daytona Bike
Week, where Krista will be riding her 2009 Harley-Davidson
V-Rod Muscle. Elegance meets brute strength in
her new ride, which features a 1250cc, liquid-cooled
Revolution V-Twin engine with satin chrome, straight-shot
side pipes, and a 250mm wide rear tire. Krista
will be hitting the streets on her V-Rod Muscle
as she participates in the Women's Day MDA Ride
on Tuesday. Following the ride, she will hit the
stage to perform music from her debut album at
the Harley-Davidson Indoor Show at Daytona's new
Ocean Center.
"I am so excited to be a part to the team
and the Harley-Davidson family," said Krista.
"Riding and music are my life and the fact
that I get to do both... well I guess you can
say I'm lucky enough to be living the dream!"
Krista Marie co-wrote and sang, "Drive It
Like I Stole It, which is the theme song for ESPN's
coverage of NHRA drag racing's 2009 season. Harley-Davidson
is a dynasty in the world of drag racing, boasting
four of the last five national champions and the
current national champion, and Krista will make
appearances at H-D exhibits during every NHRA
event she attends. Fans can read her NHRA blog,
