Brown Celebrates his 1-1 ATV Win on
the Mill Creek Podium

Pell City, AL
(4/16/2008) - For my first race of the
2008 race season at Mill Creek Raceway in Pell
City, Alabama, I am proud and excited to announce
my Factory Supported Yamaha took the 1-1 victory
in the Pro Am Production Class. Before the 2008
season even began, this year had already been
the most exciting of my life. In February it was
announced that I had been given the opportunity
to join the Yamaha Motor Corporation as a Factory
Support Rider. The sheer principal of riding for
Factory Yamaha, the company I’ve chosen
to use, is an amazing feeling. After extensive
training, testing, and hard work, along with fantastic
support, I had really looked forward to gauging
my skills against my competition at the Mill Creek
National for Round 2 of the 2008 AMA ATV Motocross
Nationals.
The Pro Am Production class
was made up of 44 riders, split between four
heats. My luck started with a favorable gate
pick in the third heat, which gave me a great
position on the line. When the gate dropped,
my Dasa motor ripped the holeshot and within
the first lap, pulled my Yamaha into a comfortable
lead. In my first moto of the year, I went on
to take my Factory Supported Yamaha to its first
win.

With my first win under my belt,
I was confident as I lined up next to the fastest
twenty Pro Am Riders in the country. With another
great holeshot under my belt, I came to the
first corner 3rd, but by the first lap, had
passed for the lead. I held on to a comfortable
lead and rode a steady pace to bring home my
first overall win and 1-1 of the season.
I’ve been dedicated to training throughout
the off season, and I’m very proud that
my success can complement the hard work of all
my sponsors and my family. I look forward to
a great season and thank you for your support.
