JB Racing ATV Racers Win at Ballance Moto-X AMA ATV MX
Blake Sarver Wins School Boy Jr., Duck Lloyd Wins Junior 25+

JB Racing's Duck Lloyd continued his winning streak in the Junior 25+ class on his Suzuki LTR450 at Ballance MX

Bowling Green, KY (5/3/2013) –The JB Racing Team traveled to Ballance Moto X in Bowling Green, Kentucky for the third round of the AMA Mtn. Dew ATV MX Championship Series. The team put down several top finishes, including a class win in School Boy Jr. by Blake Sarver and a class win in the Junior 25+ class along with a Pro-Am podium by Duck Lloyd.
Blake Sarver raced his JB Racing Honda to his third win of the year in the School Boy Jr. class. Sarver was in fourth on the first lap, but quickly charged to second position on lap two. He continued his quest for a win and turned in the fastest lap of the moto on lap three, an impressive 01:57.806.He took the moto one checkers by 05.765.

In the second moto, Sarver grabbed the lead right off the start and put on a hard charge. He again turned the fastest lap of the moto, a 01:43.371, on lap two and pushed hard to the finish. He lead all four laps and won by 10.357.

“The JB Racing Team is working great; I am very happy to have three straight wins in a row in the School Boy Jr. class. My quad is working great and I couldn’t have done this without the JB Team. I can’t thank everyone enough,” regarded Sarver.

Duck Lloyd raced his Cheerwine Suzuki to his third straight win in the Junior 25+ class. In moto one, Lloyd had an exciting battle with another racer, but was able to best him by 01.085. In the second moto, Lloyd charged from fifth to first on lap two. He pushed his JB Racing Suzuki hard and turned in the fastest lap on lap three, a quick 01:31.836. He continued to hold the lead until the checkers on lap four. Lloyd has a solid hold on the points lead in the class.

In the Pro-Am class, Lloyd finished in fifth place in heat one before coming on strong in moto two. Lloyd was in third for the first nine laps of the race, but made the pass for second on lap ten. He held the position until the checkers and finished just 01.738 behind the leader. He finished third for the round and currently sits in third in the Pro-Am points, just four points behind the leader.

“My JB Racing Suzuki worked really well. My ITP Tires hooked up great and my PEP suspension was dialed in great,” said Lloyd about his weekend.

Grayson Eller suffered a rough crash in AMA ATV MX Round 2, but was able to compete at Ballance MX. Eller sits fourth in the 90 Open (12-15) Class Points

Grayson Eller, #171, came back strong after recovering from a rough crash at Muddy Creek. Eller spent two days in the hospital after Muddy Creek and was nervous heading into Ballance Moto-X. Eller went 9-7 in the 90 Open (12-15) class on his JB Racing / Cheerwine Honda. Eller’s seventh place finish at the round has him sitting fourth in the points chase for the class.

“I felt OK at Ballance; I was still pretty sore and every time a hit a rough spot on the track I had to check up. I plan to work hard and get myself back to where I was before Muddy Creek,” said Eller.

Maddison Guyer placed second in the Girls 90 (12-15) class to further extend her points lead. The #8 had an exciting race in moto one; she was in second on lap one, but charged for the lead on lap two. She was in a heated battle with another racer and turned the fastest lap of the moto on lap four, a 02:05.546. Guyer took the checkers by 01.507. She placed second in moto two just 07.158 off the pace of the leader.

The # 24, Brogan Guyer put on a great ride in the 90 CVT (8-15) class. Guyer raced his DRR to a sixth place overall finish. In moto one, he finished in eleventh place; Guyer had a fast charge going and turned the fastest lap of the race on lap two, a quick 02:00.841. He rebounded in moto two and won the moto by 12.246. He again clocked the fastest lap of the race, a 01:53.740 on lap two.

In the AMA Pro ATV Class, Jeff Rastrelli finished eighth for the round after scoring 10-9 finishes. The mud got the best of his vision in the first moto, but Rastrelli was able to muster a solid finish despite all of the mud. In moto two, Rastrelli was in third for the first two laps, but issues dropped his to ninth. He currently sits eighth in Pro ATV points.

“It feels good to be in eighth; it’s better than last year at this time and I’ve been working and training really hard to get even faster. Ultimately, I am happy with eighth but I have plans to move up and get better and better,” regarded Rastrelli.
Round four of the AMA Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross Championship will take place in two weeks at Wildcat Creek MX in Rossville, Indiana. The JB Racing / Cheerwine team will be back in action with Blake Sarver and Maddison Guyer fighting to defend their points leads and Duck Lloyd looking for his first Pro-Am win of the season.
