Blountville, TN (4/17/2013) – The JB Racing Team made quite a show at the second round of the Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross Championship Series. The team exhibited several top finishes and four class wins from their slew of racers.

Jeff Rastrelli raced his JB Racing / Cheerwine Can-Am to an eighth place finish in the AMA Pro Class. Rastrelli got a mid-pack start in the first moto, but wasn’t able to move into the lead pack as he was caught in a shuffle of slower racers. He charged on, facing arm pump and a rough track but was able to pull off an eighth place finish.

In moto two, Rastrelli got a good start but was involved in a tangle in the first turn. He was in 14th position after coming out of the carnage. He worked his way up to ninth spot where he finished. He earned eighth place for the round and currently sits in eighth place in the AMA Pro Points Standings.

Duck Lloyd - Suzuki LTR450 ATV
William "Duck" Lloyd not only earned his second win in the Junior 25+ class, but Lloyd also rounded out the Pro-Am Podium at Muddy Creek. Duck Lloyd currently sits third in the 2013 Mtn. Dew AMA ATV Motocross Points Championship Pro-Am Class

William “Duck” Lloyd raced his JB Racing / Cheerwine Suzuki LTR 450 to third place in the Pro-Am class. He got off the gate in good position in his moto, however, he crashed in the whoops section midway through the race. He dropped to eighth position and had to work his way through the pack. He was able to take over third spot on seven and he remained there until the checkers.

“Everything’s coming together well. I am looking to get my first win of the season and think I have a good chance making a championship run,” regarded Lloyd.
Lloyd also earned his second win of the season in the Junior 25+ class. He currently holds a solid point’s lead in the class. Aside from competing at the AMA ATV MX Nationals, Lloyd is also showing that he has what it takes to be a successful woods racer. Lloyd is currently undefeated in the Junior A 22+ class at the Grand National Cross Country Series.

Maddison Guyer- Youth ATV Racer
JB Racing's Maddison Guyer won the Girls Production 90 Class & placed fourth in the School Boy Jr. (13-15) Class

The JB Racing Team also took the youth ranks by storm at the second round. Maddison Guyer went two for two winning the Girls Production 90 class for the second weekend in a row. After besting the girls, Maddison went on to finish fourth in the School Boy Jr. (13-15) class; she is currently the best finishing girl in the Schoolboy class.

“We had a great weekend under the JB Tent I was able to go 1-1 for the overall in the Girls class. I had awesome holeshots, but I am still getting used to the different quads that I run in different classes. Thank you Ralph Kell, Darin Thomas and JB for all their help and patience,” said Maddison

The #17 of Blake Sarver took his second win in the School Boy Jr. (13-15) Class. Sarver currently holds a 10 point lead in the class.  This season, Sarver also made the jump to Schoolboy Sr. where he scored 7-3 to earn fourth place for the day.

Brogan Guyer, #24, put his DRR in the number one spot in the 90 CVT (8-15) class. This was Guyer’s first win of the season. He also took fifth in the 90 Automatic Sr. (12-15) class. “Ty Ty” Peter’s, #44, took third in the Super-Mini (13-15) class.

“Muddy Creek treated me a lot better than Aonia Pass. I came out strong and rode smart to finish 1-1 in the CVT 90 class,” regarded Guyer of his race.
The JB Racing Team will be back in action in just a few short weeks at Ballance MX in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The gate drops at the third round on Saturday April 27th, 2013.
