HiPer's All Carbon Fiber ATV Wheel |
Lawrence, KS (4/30/2007) - Team HiPer's
triple threat of Chris Borich, Traci Cecco, and John
Natalie rode HiPer Tech 3 wheels to the top of the
podium after Round 5 of the Can-Am GNCC series and
the season opener of the PowerSports ATV Tour. All
three riders now lead the season point championships
in their respective classes.
John Natalie made an impressive debut in the 2007
WPSA season opening ITP Tires Southern Open Championship
at Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds, Georgia. Natalie
won his heat on Saturday en route to the top spot
in Sunday's SuperQuad Pro 450 race, finishing ahead
of reigning champion Doug Gust.
Chris Borich held off a charging Bill Balance on
the last lap of the Acerbis Loretta Lynn's GNCC
event. Borich's teammate and fellow HiPer rider
Matt Smiley came home in a well deserved and hard
fought third. Borich now assumes the point lead
after winning the last three events in a row.
Traci Cecco battled with her competition for all
three laps of the morning GNCC race. HiPer rider
Angel Attwell of Team LTE set the fastest race lap,
eventually leading Cecco into the last few corners
with Cecco just getting by at the finish for a HiPer
one-two.
The GNCC series continues with Round 6 at the Wiseco
John Penton race in Millfield, Ohio on May 12. The
second round of the PowerSports ATV Tour motocross
championship will continue May 11 at the Jack Link's
ATV Championship in Taylorville, Illinois.
