Lawrence, KS (8/8/2007) - Winners
of both ATV classes held at Pikes Peak International
Hill Climb dominated on HiPer's top-quality Tech 3
racing wheels. On July 21, Michael Ell and Steven
Tutt both came home from Colorado Springs with 1st
place victories at the 85th annual "Race to the
Clouds".
Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is an incredibly
challenging 12.4 mile race. The start line is at
a staggering 9,000 ft with a 20-50ft wide, rocky
path leading to the 14,000 foot finish line. Nearly
30 ATV riders risk falling thousands of feet down
the mountain side while competing for wins in either
the 450 or 500cc ATV classes.
Michael Ell racing on HiPer's 10 inch Tech 3 wheels
sped into 1st place with a time of 12:25.599. His
finish was a mere 4 seconds ahead of his competition.
Steven Tutt conquered his competition in the 450cc
class. Despite being his first year competing in
the Pikes Peak race he not only won his class, but
also set a new record with a time of 12:55.347.

autographed, Tech 3 wheels for charity. Each set
