2013 GBC Motorsports Heartland Challenge - Carlisle, IA - August 16-17, 2013

Carlisle, IA (2/28/2013) - The 6th Annual GBC Heartland Challenge is going to be one for the record books. The dates are August 16 & 17, 2013 We are really changing things up.  We believe it will be very popular with everyone who attends. We are going to remove 2 classes; the Pro and the Pro Am class. We will be adding an AA class to replace the Pro Am class.The big news is our new feature class: The Series Challenge. The Series Challenge will offer a change to bring all the series in the country in to gather for bragging rights.

We’ve all heard how fast our riders are and how fast your riders are, now let’s find out who has the fastest, most prepared riders in the country.  Then let’s reward them for that.  This race will be a great opportunity for everyone involved, the rider and the series they represent. The three rider team will be competing for a $4000 pay day.  The representing series will not only get the bragging rights, they will also receive a $2000 paycheck. That’s right, everybody wins - the team and the selected series they are representing.

We will be sending out invitations to all the cross country series in the country.  Upon receiving the invitation, you will choose your team to represent your series.  Each series will be represented on the GBC Heartland Challenge website with series name and link to your website.  This will truly be a way for all the series to get some great attention, no matter how large or small they are.

We sat down with GBC and we all agreed we wanted to make this race even better.  We all wanted to get outside the box, something that has never been done.  To create a race that has the opportunity to represent the riders, their state, and the people out there giving so much of their time to create these different series’, all in one event, speaks volumes for a company like GBC Motorsports vision.

The Series Challenge will be structured as follows:

Riders

• Choose up to 3 riders that ride in your series.
• Riders can be in any adult class.
• The only stipulation is you can only have one rider on your team that has lined up on the Pro or Pro Am class in the GNCC in the last three years.

Machines

• Can have the same amount of machines as riders. Ex. 3 riders can have up to 3 machines.

The team name will simply be the name of the series they are representing.
