ATV Charity Team Never Forgotten
looking for In-Kind Donations

- It will be game on in Carlisle, Iowa the first
week in November (Nov 7 & 8) when dozens of
ATV teams and hundreds of loyal racing fans come
together to compete in the GBC Heartland Challenge.
You might have even heard some of the ATV buzz
and excitement by now, but have you been offered
an opportunity that can help drive your business
during this spectacular event and join in on the
fun too?
The Never Forgotten race team wants you to join
our team for this memorable week-end of racing.
A partnership position that could begin weeks
before the event and returns a profit on your
investment long after the racing ends.
Racers spend thousands of dollars and untold
hours working on their equipment. Racers and their
fans spend thousands of dollars traveling to and
shopping in the local area. This means significant
exposure for you!
The Race
The Heartland Challenge (http://heartlandchallenge.com)
is a 2 day, family friendly event. At the heart
of the event is an endurance race that is designed
for all levels of racers; Pros, Amateurs, UTV
classes, and features an Iron man class. There
will be 14 classes all racing at the same time,
for 10 hours with NO breaks.
Support of our Team Gives You
Our goals are simple. We are working to: increase
recognition for cross country racing, and for
our sponsors; promote each in positive light;
and attract an increased following for both ATV
racing and our sponsors. We intend to do this
based on our performance both on the track, chasing/retaining
class championships, and off the track where we
will diligently promote our sponsors.
| Sponsorship of our team gives you
significant exposure: |
- We will display your logo, promotional
information sheets or stands on our trailers
and race haulers, at our pits, on our
ATVs and on our pit shirts.
- All riders will verbally, and by writing,
recognize our sponsors in any marketing,
promotional and/or interviews we partake
in.
- We will provide photographs for your
usage, if requested.
- We will test and develop any products
that you would like to market/sell.
- We will highlight companies who have
donated (with their company logo) and
also include individual names of donors
(descriptions and amounts donated will
not be included) on our team website.

About our Team
We have a strong mental and physical
capacity for ATV racing, proven by our collective
record of championships. We are dedicated to racing
the entire 10 hours of this cross country event,
and we expect to finish in the top 3. We each
compete using the Honda TRX450R. It has power,
performance and quick handling, so there is no
question how we win on the Honda TRX450R.
The 2008 Never Forgotten race team consists of:
Jerry Costello, Shawn Hohneke, and Nate Wentland.
Jerry Costello (2007 IATVHSS Stock Class Champion)
has been winning titles since 2004. His first
was the 2004 District #23 Championship and he
has continued to be a leader each year. Although
he is eager for the competition when he is racing,
he never forgets to enjoy the experience.
Shawn Hohneke (2005 MN District #23 A-Class Champion)
has been riding quads since he was 12 years old
and began racing in 2003. Over the years, Shawn
has seasoned his skills earning him 2 championships.
Nate Wentland (2008 Class A State Champion) is
passionate about racing through woods and fields.
This year he earned his 10th state championship
(five in cross country and five in motocross)
in 14 years of racing.
Giving to the Community
Another truly unique part of our race team is
that we are collecting donations to join the fight
against cancer. We would like your support! In
addition to a sponsorship, we are requesting in-kind
donations that could be used for silent auctions
and/or gift bags. If possible, please respond
by October 25th, 2008 to allow us time to prepare
the auctions or gift bags.
All money raised will be given to the American
Cancer Society (http://www.cancer.org).
Every racer and pit crew member has a close connection
to someone battling cancer. Some of our family
members and close friends have battled cancer
and won! And sadly, some of them have lost. We
hope fewer families have to experience the pain,
stress, and overall hardship of a loved one suffering
through treatments or losing a loved one, altogether,
due to cancer. We will never forget those whom
have passed from cancer.
We understand that sponsoring any team or individual
involves some level of risk, we hope to have the
opportunity to prove to you that sponsoring the
NEVER FORGOTTEN racers will be rewarding for everyone.
