Primm, NV - (2/12/2014) - H&M's David Haagsma and Beau Baron had a successful weekend of racing at round two of the WORCS Series in Primm, NV. With Haagsma taking both the Pro ATV win and SxS 1000 class win, Baron was able to capture the win in the UTV Pro Class and finish second in the ATV Pro Class as the duo dominated the competition at Buffalo Bill’s Casino & Resort.

In the ATV Pro Class, Haagsma was off to a great start when he was able to get his Sparks Racing engine started on the first kick on the dead engine style start. Taking over the lead by the second lap, he charged hard for the next several laps and quickly put a large gap between himself and the rest of the field as he went on to hold the lead to the checkered flag for the Pro ATV win.

Although the brutal track got rougher with every lap, Haagsma was able to stay smooth and consistent thanks to his amazing sponsors. "The Elka shocks worked great and the Maxxis tires were hooking up everywhere, which helped me make the pass for the lead," Haagsma stated about his finely tuned machine.

Not only did he have a great performance on his quad, Haagsma also took the win in the SxS 1000 Class with his Polaris RZR XP 1000. With a great start, he jumped in to the lead early and had to navigate his way through the class that started before him. Although the course was narrow, his speed and precision driving skills allowed him to make clean and quick passes. With second place not too far behind him, he remained focused and stayed consistent throughout the race, which ultimately lead him to the checkered flag first.

"The whole course was great. It was smooth at first, but then it got really rough and rutted. The RZR handled great, and I had a lot of fun," Haagsma said about his win on the rugged yet fun track.

H&M's Beau Baron had a great weekend as well taking the win in the UTV Pro Class aboard his #1 Polaris RZR XP 1000. Although the Holz Racing driver didn't get a great start as he was lined up on the second row, Baron charged his way past most of the UTVs in the front row. Despite not being in the physical lead, his lap times were showing great improvement and towards the end of the race, transponders showed Baron leading the race by time. Baron credits his team for showing him the times on his pit board, and on the final lap, he knew he had to charge hard to secure the win. Crossing the finish line with an eleven second lead, the defending champion and his H&M crew were ecstatic to be standing on the top of the podium.

With deep ruts and relentless whoops, Baron's RZR was working phenomenally as he was able to attack the track without any problems. "The Holz RZR worked awesome along with the Walker Evans Suspension. Big hats off to Polaris, Maxxis, Sparks, and everybody else that helped make this win possible," Baron stated thankfully about his supporters.

Not only was he successful in the UTV pro class, but he also finished on the podium in the ATV Pro Class as well. Finishing in second place, it was a great end to a successful weekend as the Maxxis/Elka backed Honda rider.

As the terrain became more rugged and challenging throughout the day, Baron was appreciative that he had top notch components on his machine to help him stay consistent. "The Elkas were working great, and my Sparks engine just ripped the whole time. I have no complaints," Baron commented in regards to his awesome race machine.

After a successful weekend with two wins in the UTV Classes as well as a one-two finish in the ATV Pro Class, H&M Motorsports is beyond happy to move on to WORCS round three in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on March 14-16th.
