Bakersfield, CA (10/30/2009) -
WORCS- Rnd #8- Mesquite
Davi Haagsma ran away with the Pro 2 win earlier
this month in Mesquite, NV at the final round
of the 2009 WORCS ATV Championship series.
With the 2nd plate being wrapped up the race
before, this was all fun for Haagsma as he
would run his last race in the A class for
the series. Davi who had a great start would
run 3rd and 4th for a couple of laps before
getting into the lead on lap 5 and never looked
back. Haasgma would start to gap a lead which
would at one point see him running a 9:52
on lap 2, almost a full minute faster than
the nearest competitor. Haagsma would end
up taking the win for his second race in a
row. Davi would also post an 8th O/A within
the Pro class as Pro-Am and Pro’s run
together on Sunday Main Events.
“I really can’t express how much
this year meant to me. Allan my Manager/Mechanic
did a fantastic job. He really stepped up
and put all his efforts behind my program.
I couldn’t have did it without him.
My parents have always been behind me and
I want to thank them as well. My sponsors
are the best and I am truly happy to represent
them in such a winning fashion. I’m
turing Pro next year and I’m looking
forward to giving them more wins in 2010”

ITP- Rnd #8- Temecula, Ca
H&M’s Davi Haagsma made his way
down south to Cahilla Creek this past weekend
as he would run round #8 of the ITP Quadcross
Nationals. Davi lined up against the likes
of John Natalie, Jeremie Warnia and Josh Frederick
who currently run under the Motoworks tent.
Haagsma would finish 4th in the Open Pro class
behind the trio of yellow Can-Ams. Haagsma
was able to pull up on Motowork’s Warnia
for Open Pro points, as the Championship will
be decided next month at Glen Helen for the
final round where it is a double points race.
Davi will look to make a run at the Open Pro
Class Championship and put his Roll Design/Maxxis/Curtis
Sparks/Kawasaki backed 450F up front for sure.
Note from Davi Haagsma
“I really didn’t know what to
expect this year. I just wanted to help Davi
do the best he could and this was far from
my goal for sure. He has matured a ton and
I am really excited to get into the Pro class
next year. We have great sponsors, great team
structure and alot of support. You’ll
see that come 2010.” Allan McCostlin
