GNCC ATV Racing
Television on Versus Begins This Weekend
Morgantown, WV (7/28/2008)
- America's Largest Off-Road Racing Series,
the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country (GNCC)
tour, returns to television through the popular
Racer TV package on Versus Network. Versus will
air 26 half-hour GNCC shows, featuring flag-to-flag
coverage of all 13 rounds of GNCC racing for bikes
and ATVs. Original episodes will broadcast every
Sunday at 2:30 p.m. EST, with re-airings on Thursdays
at 4 p.m. EST. The shows premiere this Sunday
with coverage of the Parts Unlimited Triton GNCC
from Florida.
Each episode features comprehensive coverage
of the events, following the XC1 and XC2 pro classes
as well as the morning and youth races. Jason
Weigandt handles the hosting duties, with Hannah
Reid reporting from the pit area.
GNCC Racing has aired a national broadcast television
package since 2001, and the 2008 season marks
the fourth season of Racer TV on Versus Network.
Racer TV features not only the Can-Am GNCC Series,
but the ITP/Moose Racing ATVA National Motocross
Series presented by Parts Unlimited as well.
