2013 GNCC XC1 and XC2 ATV Holeshot Awards Return
ATV Amateur Overall Award Returns to 10 a.m. Race
Morgantown, WV (4/1/2013)
- One of the most exciting aspects of GNCC Racing lies within its infamous dead engine starts, where racers fire their machines and sprint to the first corner in hopes of getting an early lead on the competition. However, the stakes heighten to more than just bragging rights in the XC1 and XC2 divisions, thanks to this year's GNCC Holeshot Award sponsors: All Balls Racing, Digitaloffroad.com and Team Woodhead/DeRisi Racing.
All Balls Racing will present a $250 XC1 Bike Holeshot Award and $100 XC2 ATV Holeshot Award to the rider who reaches the designated holeshot line first at each of the remaining rounds this season, with the exception of Round 9 at Snowshoe, which uses a live engine GP style start.
Digitaloffroad.com will present the $100 XC2 Bike Holeshot Award, while Team Woodhead / DeRisi will award the $250 XC1 ATV Holeshot Award.
Also returning this season is the $125 GT Thunder Amateur Overall Award, given to the non-Sportsman Class rider who achieves the top overall finish in the 10 a.m. ATV race. Below are this year's winners through Round 2 of racing.
