to miss Ironman GNCC Season Finale

Crawfordsville, IN (10/24/2013) - Two weeks ago, Chris Bithell wrecked at the Powerline Park GNCC; he was able to successfully finish the race and come back from a few minutes down to take fourth overall, however, the injuries he sustained were more serious than initially thought. Due to the injuries he sustained in the crash, Bithell will be unable to race at the GNCC season finale in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

“This was such a hard decision to come to, but I really can’t risk doing any further or permanent damage to my shoulder. I would love to be out there battling this weekend, Ironman is one of my favorite tracks. I can’t thank my sponsors and fans enough for all the support I received this year. I am looking forward to a full recovery and coming back strong in 2014,” regarded Bithell.
Although this is a disappointing end to a strong season, Bithell and his pit crew are looking forward to the 2014 season.
