Maxxis' Chris Borich will attempt to tie BIll Ballance's 67 all time ATV overall winning record at the Gusher GNCC
Morgantown, WV (9/17/2013) - The 2013 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series makes its debut in Northwest Pennsylvania this weekend, September 21 and 22, for the inaugural running of the Car-Mate Gusher GNCC. Taking place on the property of Foxburg's picturesque RiverStone Estate, Round 11 of the 13-race series will showcase all-new terrain with freshly cut trail alongside the wild and scenic Allegheny and Clarion Rivers.

Four-time XC1 Pro ATV Champion Chris Borich heads into Round 11 with more than just a race win on his mind. On Saturday, the Pennsylvania native will attempt to tie nine-time GNCC Champion Bill Ballance's all-time record of ATV overall wins with a 67th career win at the Car-Mate Gusher GNCC. Of course, Borich is also vying for a fifth consecutive title as he currently leads the National Championship standings with seven overall wins this season.

Walker Fowler - Yamaha YFZ450R ATV
Walker Fowler sits second in the GNCC XC1 Pro Points on his Yamaha YFZ450R ATV

AmPro Yamaha's Walker Fowler has kept Borich honest all season long, claiming two overall wins against the champ thus far. In his sophomore year in the XC1 Pro class, Fowler continues to uphold his second place ranking while pushing towards the number one position.

Lonestar Racing/Precision/ITP's Adam McGill surpassed Reliable Tool Supply/Maxxis' Chris Bithell in the overall standings after Round 10, as a mechanical issue removed Bithell from competition early on. Despite a mid-race crash, McGill was able to salvage enough points to take over the third place position in the overall standings. With one overall win behind him, McGill has shown great speed this season but the West Virginia native hasn't been able to maintain the consistency needed to contest the 2013 championship.

JB Racing/Cheerwine/Can-Am rider Jarrod McClure put forth an impressive ride at the last round to capture his first podium finish of the season. The Pennsylvania native looks to keep the momentum alive this weekend with another podium finish in his home state. BNR's Kevin Yoho is coming off two consecutive fourth place finishes, where he holds fifth overall in the championship standings.

Brycen Neal - Honda 450R ATV
Brycen Neal holds down the GNCC XC1 Pro-Am Points lead heading to Round 11

XC2 Pro Am points leader Brycen Neal looks to capture his third consecutive class win on Saturday, as he holds a commanding lead over second place. Neal currently enjoys seven wins in the Pro Am division, while possessing a tenth place ranking in the overall championship standings. Indiana's Fred Marley sits in second place in the XC2 class standings, just five points ahead of reigning XC2 Pro Am Champion Patrick McGuire.

Four-wheeled ATVs will compete throughout the day on Saturday, September 21 and motorcycles will race on Sunday, September 22. Local riders are invited to race the event as well, the entry fee is $40 and riders can sign up at the track.

Spectator passes run $15 for the full weekend, with pro pit access and pro autographs at no additional charge. On both Saturday and Sunday, youth riders race at 8 a.m., amateurs and Women race at 10 a.m., and the top amateurs and the pros race at 1 p.m. For more information and directions to the event, please visit www.gnccracing.com.
