Tigerton, WI (9/24/2008) - Fall is here! Sorry, we know what comes after fall in the great white north of Wisconsin, but it's just a fun time of year for motocross. The temperatures are perfect, the soil is moist and loamy. It all just makes for great riding.

Some of the best events of the season typically happen in the fall and hopefully this year will not be an exception. The Forest County Potawatomi Northern Cup Motocross Series Championships are taking place this weekend at the Motozone in Tigerton, WI.

Yamaha, Kawasaki, Scott USA, Acerbis, Answer, Dunlop and Tucker Rocky are all offering contingency and/or product for the big day - in total over $100,000 in contingency and prizes up for grabs on Saturday, September 27th alone! 1st moto holeshot awards courtesy of Scott USA and 2nd moto holeshot awards courtesy of Acerbis.

Ultimate Quad MX Championships & Dirt Drag Championships
Sunday, September 28th will feature both the Ultimate Quad MX Championships presented by Janssen Motorsports and the Ultimate Dirt Drag Championships presented by Max Power RPMs. We've been able to extend the drag strip nearly 200 feet since opening weekend. It will be much more enjoyable for everyone. Complete details for the big weekend are now available at www.fantasymoto.com

The most important change for the weekend is the earlier start time on Saturday. Riders meeting is at 7 AM for bikes on Saturday with practice and racing to follow. Don't be late! We will again run a split program for bike and quads. Quad riders can register throughout the day. There will be a seperate Quad only riders meeting at 3 PM on Saturday with practice to follow. With the earlier start time and other changes to the program you can fully expect things to run a full two hours ahead of what they did on grand opening weekend. In addition to the normal A, B, and C classes for quads, we will again add a 0-70cc, 0-90cc and a Junior class for ATV's.

One more thing to note: the trees are starting to turn color in the Tigerton area - take some time to explore the ATV park this weekend - it is truly a hidden treasure in our state.
