Team Epic Can-Am Wins on DS 450
Frederick Wins Round 7 of the WORCS ATV Nationals on Team Epic Can-Am DS 450

(8/21/2007) - Team Epic Can-Am made its debut at Round 7 of the WORCS ATV Nationals at Straddleline ORV Park in Olympia, WA. Team riders Josh Frederick and Jeremy Schell rode the Team Epic-prepared Can-AM DS 450 machines in the first-ever Pro race for the new 2008 DS 450 ATV. # 2 Josh Frederick made history by capturing the first ever Pro class win for the new Can-Am DS 450 on Saturday in the Open Pro division, and then capped it off with another win in Sunday's Main Event.

The normal Washington State wet weather held off for practice on Friday and Saturday races but then it let loose. The rain continued Saturday night and into Sunday for the Pro Main. Team Epic Can-Am riders lined up on the muddy start gate with their 2008 Can-Am DS 450's. Schell got tangled with another rider while Frederick put his DS 450 in a solid second position. Frederick stopped for goggles on the first lap then mounted a charge towards the front. Josh was able to take over the lead from Doug Eichner about 60 minutes into the race, then never looked back. He continued to extend his lead on the muddy course and took a commanding win on the Team Epic Can-Am.

Team Epic Can-Am rider Jeremy Schell was forced to discard his muddy goggles as he worked his way through the pack of riders. Riding without goggles Jeremy moved into third place and took the third spot on the podium. This gave Can-Am two podium finish's at their first Pro event.

Team Epic Can-Am will be on the track again at Round 8 of the WORCS ATV Nationals in Monticello, UT on September 7-9, 2007.
