Coopersburg, PA (4/30/2008) - East
Coast ATV had a stellar weekend at Round #4
of the ATVA National Series. Jason Dunkelberger
came out and surprised many people that had
doubted him at the Birch Creek facility. During
his first moto, Dunk would take grab a third
place holeshot. Doug Gust would quickly begin
applying pressure, but it would not be enough
to take the position. A third place first
moto finish, gave him a reasonable gate pick
for the second and final moto.
When the gate dropped in the final moto,
it would be Dunk and Gust, once again, battling
for position. While Gust would take the position,
the East Coast ATV was proud of his two solid
moto finishes. A third place finish would
mark his career high finish and a podium first.
After catching a breath, "The weekend
was the best weekend I've ever had racing
and I give the East Coast Crew the credit.
It's awesome having a team as dedicated to
working on the quads as I am to training and
riding them." Matt Detwiler has been
working hard to dial in the new quads. His
hard work paid off as it seems they the perfect
combination for Dunk. "It was a great
weekend. Dunk deserves to be up there [on
the podium] and I'm glad I could help him
be there. We are excited to have a repeat
weekend."
The success of the East Coast team did not
end with the pro class. The #77 machine of
Nick Moser had a second place finish in Production
C.
