Paet Hidalgo Named as new CEO

Vista, CA (7/16/02007) - Douglas Henline, Founder of Douglas Technologies Group, Inc, owner of the popular DWT wheel brand, has named Paet Hidalgo as his new CEO.

Mr. Henline states “With the challenges in today’s performance wheel market, I felt that the timing was right to move into an oversight role that would allow me to work in the background and focus on project engineering.” “The company is involved in several market sectors, and to continue to succeed into the future requires leadership by someone with the energy level I used to have; in addition to possessing a unique set of skills and more contemporary operation strategies.”

Paet (pronounced “pate”) Hidalgo, a graduate of Seattle University and University of Washington, is well known in the auto racing and action sports arenas. The national driving champion is a veteran of Toyota Atlantic, SCCA Trans Am, Formula 3000; and he is currently a licensed IndyCar driver. With strong ties to No Fear, Inc. and Spy Optic / Orange 21, Inc., the latter of which he was a ground floor investor, Paet was also the former owner of the ground-breaking Renspeed brand of racing karts.

Mr. Henline has been at the helm of DWT, formerly known as Douglas Wheel, since the company’s beginning in 1991. Doug and Paet have known each other for many years, and share a common passion for motor sports. Paet’s transitions into the Chief Executive role follows an 18 month stint leading the companies marketing and rebranding efforts as a contracted consultant.
