Valcourt, Canada (3/14/2008) -
As snow buried Ohio, tornadoes hit Florida and freezing
rain coated the Northeast, the General GNCC near
Washington, Ga., faced its share of weather issues.
Rain, cold and snow were the story for Saturday's
races and the Can-Am riders had their work cut out
for them.
"In GNCC racing, you are always going to
face these kinds of races," said Del Bohlman,
Product, Media Relation and Racing Manager for
Can-Am ATVs. "Preparing for the race course
conditions of these muddy and miserable races
are a test for the crew and racers. But this is
why we race Can-Am ATVs; they are capable of amazing
feats."

Roosts some dirt on his Can-Am ATV

At the end of the gruelling race, Can-Am X-Team
member Bryan Buckhannon aboard a Can-Am™
Outlander™ 800 ATV was the first of the
4x4 Open riders to cross the finish line and was
on the morning podium with third overall out of
nearly 250 riders. He wasn't the only Can-Am rider
to win his class, Team Warnert Racing/Can-Am's
Cliff Beasley took the win on his Outlander 500
in the 4x4 Lites class. He was closely followed
by Team Looney Tuned Exhaust/Can-Am's Jerime Dudding
on his Outlander 500 ATV. BRP Can-Am also had
success in the 4x4 Limited class as X-Team racer
Jamie Bougher was the first to finish in the class.
All the racers are hoping the Steele Creek GNCC,
held near Morganton, N.C., on March 29, will have
much better weather and track conditions. Visit
