BRP leads CMRC National Championship
- Consistent Finishes Paying Off for DS 450
ATV Rider Michael Oullette
Valcourt, Canada (7/10/2008) -
BRP racers have seen great results the last two
rounds of the Canadian Motosport Racing Club's (CMRC)
National Series. At the end of round two both Richard
Pelchat and Michael Ouellette were first and second
respectively in points, with Pelchat taking the
Round 2 overall. The next round, at Tring-Jonction
saw Oullette overtake Pelchat as the points leader.
Both riders were aboard the Can-AmTM DS 450TM EFI
ATV.
"These results are the product of hard work,
smart riding and consistent performance,"
said Del Bohlman, Product, Media Relation and
Racing Manager for Can-Am ATVs at BRP. "Our
collective goal is to bring home the Canadian
national championship for BRP, and with our Can-Am
racers continuing to train and ride hard, that
goal will come true."
Currently, multi-time Canadian champion and Can-Am
X-Team member Pelchat leads the CMRC Quebec Provincial
championship race. Ouellette is a member of the
NDB Sport / PLX Sport team and races alongside
teammate Jimmy Morin; all three riders hail from
Quebec.
