Big Weekend for BRP Can-Am X-Team
ATV Racing:
Success at GNCC and WPSA events
Valcourt, Canada (5/15/2007)
- BRP had a huge weekend for its Can AmTM X-Team
racers. Racers aboard Can-Am OutlanderTM ATVs took
podium spots at both the John Penton Grand National
Cross Country (GNCC) race in Ohio and the second
round of the World Powersports Association’s
(WPSA) ATV Tour in Illinois.
“This was a great weekend for
our racers and it showed the outright performance
of the Outlander line of ATVs,” said Bernard
Guy, ATV marketing director, BRP. “Both the
GNCC and WPSA series test both racer and machine,
and our performance at both events is a testament
to not only our racers and ATVs, but everyone’s
hard work for the race effort.”
The WPSA season may be just two rounds
old, but the competition is getting quite fierce
in the QuadTerrain Challenge Pro Stock class. Riding
Can-Am Outlander 650 H.O. EFIs, both Scott Kilby
and Adam Vaughn of Team Warnert Racing/Can-Am took
the top two spots in the final.
