West Springfield, MA (6/10/2013) - Rain and mud made the Birch Creek MX National another slop fest for the racers at the sixth round of the AMA Mtn. Dew ATV MX National Championship Series. BCS Performance’s Josh Creamer put in two hard rides and finished 6-5 to earn sixth for the round.

Creamer used his BCS Performance engine to power off the line and was in fourth place at the end of lap one; he then clocked his personal fastest lap of the moto on lap two, a quick 02:00.641. Creamer kept his pace up, but got into several battles and dropped to seventh on lap four. He continued to go back and forth between sixth and seventh position until he was finally able to make the pass stick for sixth on lap eleven.

“The first moto didn’t go as good as I wanted, but the Can-Am ran well and everything worked. I just struggled,” regarded Creamer after the race.

Creamer changed his set up a bit for moto two and put on his signature ITP Tires that have proven effective every race.  He got off the line in good position and was in sixth at the end of lap one. He continued there until lap seven when he took over the fifth spot. He rode in fifth, uncontested, until the checkers on lap twelve.

“This was an ok day. I am happy to be getting out of here healthy and really looking forward to Steel City and hopefully some sunshine,” said Creamer after his sixth place finish for the round.

BCS Performance’s Creamer is currently ranked third in the AMA Pro ATV class. He has only had one finish outside of the top five and will be looking for his first overall win at Steel City in a few weeks.
