9x GNCC XC1 Pro ATV Champion Bill Ballance

Oakland, KY (5/2/2013) -There may be a good chance of seeing 9x XC1 Pro Champion Bill Ballance on the line at round five of the Amsoil GNCC Series this weekend as the event is held just a few miles from the Ballance racing facility. The news that the champ may be racing is great to hear however the biggest surprise is that he will not be on the familiar YFZ450, but on a newly built LTR450! Ballance has been working with the new model for a few months and is singing high praise for its ability in the woods.

While racing has taken a back seat to the family farm, Ballance is still firmly rooted in Cross Country racing as his brother in law and XC1 Pro top ten racer Taylor Kiser will be contending his YFZ450R ATV in the AMA MAXC series for 2013.

9x Bill Ballance may race the Mammoth GNCC in Parker City, KY aboard his new LTR450 ATV. Only time will tell if the former GNCC ATV Champion will return to contend to race with defending GNCC XC1 Pro ATV Champion Chris Borich, Chris Bithell, Adam McGill, Walker Fowler, & the rest of the XC1 Pro ATV field

The pair may have traded in riding boots for work boots, the pair is eager to get back out there on the national level for some good racing and atmosphere. Both Bill and Taylor have stated that they have more seat time on a John Deere then their quads, both were pretty excited with the chance to race locally with the national crowd. There will be more news and an in depth story on Ballance Racings LTR in the near future as they are eager to express their opinions and findings. 

After placing third at the 2013 AMA MAXC Season Opener in Canaan, IN, #3 Taylor Kiser has stated he will racing the entire AMA National MAXC Racing Series Schedule
