ATV Promoters Group Clarifies
2007
ATVA National Motocross Schedule
Morgantown, WV (2/9/2007) -
The ATV Promoters Group (ATVPG), in cooperation with
AMA Racing and ATVA, announce the schedule for the 2007
AMA ITP/Moose ATV National Motocross Championships Presented
by Parts Unlimited. While the dates and locations have
not changed from the originally released schedule, some
clarification is necessary.
"There's been no shortage of rumors
regarding the status of the Echeconnee Off-Road Park
event, which will remain on the schedule for 2007,"
explained Steve Whitelock, AMA Pro Racing Motocross
and Supercross Director. "The facility owners have
made changes within their organization, and we have
every reason to expect the same quality racetrack and
event that we've always had at Echeconnee." Accordingly,
the season schedule remains unchanged for 2007, and
is listed below.

"The AMA, ATVA and ATV Promoters Group have worked
together to achieve the best possible schedule for 2007,"
explained Birch Creek event promoter Carl Reynolds.
"Traditional dates are key to a series approaching
its 21st season. When a race has become a must-attend
event within the local community as well as the racing
community, it's important to keep it on its time-honored
date. We've accomplished that while moving newer events
to dates better suited to the available daylight hours
and area climate. We also felt it was very important
to give racers the every-other-weekend schedule they
prefer. All in all, this is a great schedule for racers,
fans, sponsors and everyone involved with the series,"
continued Reynolds.
The series Awards Ceremony and Banquet is set to return
to the Grand Hotel and Convention Center in Pigeon Forge,
Tennessee on November 10. Recognition and awards are
given to the top 10 finishers in each class. Stay tuned
