First Ever Youth Quad ATV Contingency Showcase pulls in $40,000 plus!

Contingency Showcase Links
Hurricane Mills, TN (8/17/2007) Racer Productions, producers of ATV Dirt Days at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, the final round of the ITP/Moose ATVA National Motocross Championship series, is proud to announce that the total value of the first-ever Youth Quad Contingency Showcase was in excess of $40,000. "[The total] could be a whole lot more, because allot of the gift certificates were for a percentage off, and we only figured the lowest amount," said Frieda Rozelle, one of the coordinators of the event.

The purpose of the contingency program was to reward youth quad racers, the future of our sport, with special prizes and awards. "This is as close as we can come to a total," Rozelle said. "It's very impressive for only 6 weeks of work. Over $40,000 is not too bad; maybe we can double it next year or even triple it."

The Grand Prize Winners included:
The winner of the Xtreme pit bike was Jonny Loos, from Brookville, IN, who took third in the 70 Production CVT (6-11) class with a 5-3 finish. The DRR mini quad winner was Bobby Slevnik, Jr., from Schererville, IN. Bobby, who normally participates in the 90 Production Sr (12-15) class, made the trip all the way to Loretta's just to participate in the drawing, despite a broken leg. It appears his gamble paid off, as he walked away - well, sort of - with the grand prize. All prize recipients are encouraged to send thank-you notes or e-mails to the companies that provided their gifts. Check out ATVriders.com for more event pictures.
